SWANTON TOWNSHIP PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING ZONING CHANGE OF PARCELS LOCATED AT
11850, 11900, 11910, 11920 AIRPORT HIGHWAY
Ref: Z33 - C126 & C127
JULY 16, 2007

MEMBERS PRESENT:

Ed Snyder, Sandy Komisarik, Ron Grant, Dave Smithers, Joe Zielinski

MEMBERS ABSENT:

Becky Ziviski - Alternate

VISITORS PRESENT:

7 people signed: Troy Barman, Kim Bradford, Dennis Tippie, Julie Tippie, Jim Irmen, Cindy Irmen, Rick Rahm, Gary Heinemann - did not sign

The hearing was opened by Chairperson Ed Snyder at 7:15 P.M. for application for zoning change from A-Agricultural to C-4 at 11850, 11900, 11910, 11920 Airport Highway, Ref: Z33 - C126 & C127, by NDA Properties, LLC, owner - Rick Rahm. LCPC Staff Analysis was read by Ed Snyder and discussion followed. Motion was made by Sandy Komisarek to approve zone change request Ref: Z33 - C126 and C-127 based on Staff Analysis recommendation by the Lucas County Plan Commission from A-Agricultural to C-4 Highway Commercial for 11850, 11910, 11920 Airport Highway, to Trident Motors Corps., to the Swanton Township Trustees for consideration and approval with the following conditions:

Paragraph 1: The word “Recommend” is changed to “Require” and the word “mandated” is changed to “investigated”;
Paragraph 9: The word “Consider” is changed to “Require”;
Paragraph 23: Words added “… after review by the Swanton Township Zoning Commission.”
Paragraph 24 (added): The Zoning Commission does not consider the applicant to be limited by the language in the second paragraph of the LCPC Staff Analysis.

Seconded by Ron Grant. The vote was Ed Snyder - Yes, Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ron Grant - Yes, Dave Smithers - Yes, Joe Zieklinski - Yes. Motion carried.

Motion to adjourn at 7:48 by Sandy Komisarik, seconded by Ron Grant. The vote was: Ed Snyder-Yes, Sandy Komisarik - Yes, Ron Grant - Yes, Dave Smithers - Yes, Joe Zielinski - Yes. Motion carried.
