VISITORS PRESENT:
The
meeting was opened by Chairperson Ed Snyder at 7:00 P.M. Roll was
called. A motion was made by Dave Smithers to waive reading of the
minutes from the regular Swanton Township Zoning meeting of February
12, 2007 and accept as presented; seconded by Sandy Komisarek. The
vote was: Ed Snyder - Yes, Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ron Grant - Abstain,
Dave Smithers - Yes, Becky Ziviski - Yes. Motion carried.
Old
Business: Ed Snyder indicated that the Zoning Commission is
currently waiting for the maps from the LCPC for the Proposed Land
Use Plan for Alternate 20.
New
Business: An
application for zoning classification change was received from Richard
Ramm for property located at 11850, 11900, 11910, 11920 Airport Highway.
He is requesting a zoning change from the current classification
of A to a C-4 classification for the property. He would like to open
an automotive accessory business. Discussion was had and members
of the Zoning Commission were able to ask Mr. Ramm questions concerning
this business. Dave Smithers moved to accept the zoning application
change and send the request to the LCPC with a hearing set for April
9, 2007 at 7:15 P.M.; seconded by Sandy Komisarek. The vote was:
Ed Snyder - Yes, Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ron Grant - Yes, Dave Smithers
- Yes, Becky Ziviski - Yes.
