VISITORS PRESENT:
The meeting was opened by Chairperson
Sandy Komisarek at 7:00 P.M. A motion was made by Ed Snyder to waive
reading of the minutes from the regular Swanton Township Zoning meeting
of January 15, 2007 and approve as presented; seconded by Joe Zielinski.
The vote was: Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ed Snyder - Yes, Dave Smithers
- Yes, Joe Zielinski - Yes, Becky Ziviski - Yes. Motion carried.
New Business: Sandy Komisarek moved
to appoint Ed Snyder as chairperson for the 2007 calendar year for
the Swanton Township Zoning Board, seconded by Ed Snyder. A vote was
taken: Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ed Snyder - Yes, Dave Smithers - No,
Joe Zielinski - Yes, Becky Ziviski - Yes. Motion carried. Dave Smithers
stated he would like to serve as chairperson as he has been on the
board for several years and would like to serve in the position. Ed
Snyder then nominated Sandy Komisarek as vice chairperson, seconded
by Sandy Komisarek. The vote was Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ed Snyder -
Yes, Dave Smithers - No, Joe Zielinski - Yes, Becky Ziviski - Yes.
Motion carried.
Old Business: Ed Snyder said he will
call Molly Maguire regarding the Land Use Plan for U.S. Alternate 20
and Sandy Komisarek said she would call Tom Lemon regarding this also.
Motion was made by Dave Smithers
to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 P.M., seconded by Ed Snyder. The vote
was: Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ed Snyder - Yes, Dave Smithers - Yes, Joe
Zielinski - Yes, Becky Ziviski - Yes. Motion carried.
