SWANTON TOWNSHIP PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING REQUEST TO AMEND EXISTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT -

VISITORS PRESENT:
4 people signed: Dennis Cousin, Mark Shambarger, Jim Irmen, Gary Heinemann, Zoning Inspector
 
The hearing was opened by Chairperson Sandy Komisarek at 7:30 P.M. Zoning Board members questioned Mark Shambarger from Coger/Shambarger Architect, Inc. and Dennis Cousin, facilities manager at Bittersweet Farms about several issues concerning the request to amend the Special Use Permit. They explained the requirements that HUD has in order to fund the new facility. Zoning members also questioned the status of the Master Plan that LCPC had suggested be completed back in 1985. Mr. Cousin indicated that there was one but it was not long range.
 
Motion was made to continue the Public Hearing until September 11, 2006 at 7:15 P.M. by Ed Snyder, seconded by Dave Smithers. The vote was: Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ed Snyder - Yes, Dave Smithers - Yes, Becky Ziviski - Yes. Motion carried
 
A motion was made by Dave Smithers to adjourn the Public Hearing at 7:46 P.M., seconded by Ed Snyder. The vote was: Sandy Komisarek - Yes, Ed Snyder - Yes, Dave Smithers - Yes, Becky Ziviski - Yes. Motion carried.
